The hair is painted directly onto the scalp so there is nothing to brush, wash or straighten, which suits a doll that will be handled regularly. The vinyl surface has that slight give under the fingers that separates a well made reborn from an ordinary toy, and the paintwork is sealed matte so it photographs properly and does not reflect light.
